Position Summary:

Responsible for providing care for patients including assessment, treatment, care planning and medical care evaluation by following standards and practices. Assists physicians, mid-levels and other staff in coordinating patient care.

Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS H.S. Diploma/GED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) National Health Career Association (NHA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), American Allied Health (AAH) or The American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) National Health Career Association (NHA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), American Allied Health (AAH) or The American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) upon hire. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in the medical field a plus AndMedical terminology SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Cooperative work attitude toward coworkers, management, patients, visitors and providers. Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, hospitals, other physician offices and the general public. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Work effectively as a team member with physicians and other staff. Appropriately interact with patients, families and others. Ability to respond to changing demands and be flexibility with work schedules to accomodate changes in clinic.
