Position Scope: This role will champion the portfolio-level strategy for school and district-facing (a.k.a., our “host”) products and services required to win and retain school and preschool business in the US and Canada.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Develop comprehensive understanding of industry trends, host customer needs and brand SWOT.
- Convert data/insights into action by interpreting market research and analyzing account performance data.
- Partner with business leaders to define, communicate and champion our brand value proposition.
- Lead customer segmentation strategy, helping to create go-to-market rules and shepherd field activation.
- Identify, create and develop differentiated value that spans across business lines in collaboration with business line leaders.
- Own full lifecycle of host product and service offering development, including routine measurement of usage/effectiveness, strategic fit and financial viability.
- Write business plans identifying objectives, strategies, key initiatives, dependencies and performance measurements aligned with growth and cost savings targets.
- Contribute to product knowledge training for new and existing sales professionals.
- Manage keytechnology enablers, owning business requirements for host-facing platforms and managing relationships with key 3rd party vendors, supplies and partners.
- Oversee and support cross-functional activation plans and support seasonal readiness efforts to meet in-market timelines.

The Skills You'll Bring:
- Education: Four-year degree in business, marketing or related degree. MBA is a plus but not required.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Passionate about developing positive working relationships to ensure a collaborative and effective working environment.
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence teammates, outside of direct reporting structures, in order to deliver on-time and quality work.
- The ability to analyze data and think creatively in order to develop sound recommendations and solutions to achieve strategic business goals
- Self-starter who asks questions, learns quickly and challenges the status quo.
- Takes proactive approach to seeking self-improvement.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.
- Adept in anticipating, assessing and translating customer and sales team needs into actionable tactics.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic product management and marketing concepts (SWOT, competitive analysis, brand positioning etc.).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient at interpreting analytics to use in future decision making
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
