Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Help manage the golf operation and work cooperatively with the Director of Golf and all other departments. The position will promote an exceptional “guest experience,” and provide excellent services and programs to everyone.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Golf in managing the facility in an efficient, high-quality, service-oriented manner.
• Oversee all daily golf operations including the supervision and training of Outside Service Staff.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Outside Service Team. Assist the staff in executing and operating all Outside Golf Tournaments, In House Events, and Pillar Events.
• Work closely with the Events/Sales team to ensure all tournaments are prepared and ready.
• Promoting and operating the facility to drive revenue.
• Assist in training, supervising, and motivating the staff to meet facility objectives, especially in providing exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the tee sheet, starting, and monitoring of play.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls.
• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Develop and manage an innovative tournament program that services all customer segments.
• Assist in the marketing and promotion of new memberships / play.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, including forecasting and review of all golf revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Willingness to go above and beyond for all guests, Members, and Visitors at Cowboys Golf Club.
• Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements:
A level one PGA certification, or greater preferred but not required.
A minimum of two years of college, or equivalent experience will be considered.
Candidates should possess experience in staff supervision, golf operations, customer service, and computer technology including POS.
Compensation:
$21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
