Job description

A Leading Global Manufacturer in the Chicago, IL needs an IT Manager focusing on Plex. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
Ownership of Plex:
Oversee all aspects of the Plex system, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization to meet the needs of the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Plex aligns with business processes and objectives.
Stay updated on Plex updates, enhancements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

 

People Management:
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting professional development and growth opportunities.
Coordinate with HR to address staffing needs, performance evaluations, and career planning for IT personnel.

Functional Leadership:
Serve as a subject matter expert on Plex functionality, providing guidance and support to end-users.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable IT solutions.
Drive innovation and efficiency through the effective use of Plex and other IT systems.

 
REQUIREMENTS:

 
5+ years of proven experience managing Plex in a corporate environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
Hands-on technical expertise in Plex configuration, customization, and administration.
