Waferwire is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project and Program Manager with PMP certification, possessing mature organizational skills and experience in supporting complex, large strategic efforts at tech companies. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving agile projects and supporting a large, strategic initiative in the Crisis Space, accelerating the program with real results and impact on the business.

Job Description:
- A dynamic and results driven PMP-certified project manager with mature organizational skills and experience in supporting complex, large strategic efforts at tech companies. You will be successful in this role if you have strong project management skills inclusive of C-Level communications, organization, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Project), act as a business owner driving results and other soft skills.
- You must be well-versed in stakeholder and conflict management, leading teams, executing strategy, have strong business maturity and collaborating within and without organizational siloes to pull together an ecosystem to support a wide variety of project and program work. You are intentional about organization, thought leadership on what needs to be done, can close gaps for accelerated progress and have a solution centric approach when faced with challenges.
- In this role, you will support a program manager who is overseeing a large, strategic initiative that supports the Field and our Customers in the Crisis Space. You will own and drive several workstreams under the larger program. The result will be an acceleration of the program with real results and impact on the business.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Purpose of the Team Crisis Management and Prevention
- Key projects Mostly ad hoc projects to include the sprint review process, feedback analysis, acting as a point of contact for feedback, align with the team and drive towards milestones, assist the team with Risk Mitigation and Change Management, and will also assist with stakeholder engagement.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm 70% of the day will be the above, the remaining 30% will be meetings
Project Management Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience driving agile projects
- Own and drive delivery of project tasks, activities, milestones, and resources. Develop, maintain, and manage project requirements, plans, timeline, issues, risks, and challenges to support this.
- Engage with program leadership as necessary to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Support and be inclusive of a variety of business owners, recognizing multiple parties/organizations with conflicting agendas and business priorities.
- Work closely with program/process owners to identify business changes and drive the consensus necessary to adopt a manageable change strategy.
- Ensuring the work and solutions a team is working on meets business needs and requirements.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Ensure scope and schedule for commitments are clearly defined, agreed upon, and communicated across stakeholder and leadership teams.
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Prioritizing based on business needs and requirements.
- Work directly with all geographic areas and impacted parts of the business to drive this workstream from initiation through delivery.
- Actively seek opportunities to create synergies across internal groups to drive long-term solutions to a customer connected experience
- Own communication on project status, issue management, and resolution. Including celebrating success and failures so we learn and develop a growth mindset.
Project Management Requirements:
- Must have experience working for program managers.
- 5+ years combined experience: Project/Program Management, Delivery Management
- Experienced in customer experience, success strategy, and operations.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Experience in managing large scale, complex projects and overseeing team collaboration and program/project orchestration end to end.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication to present updates and ideas to business leaders, customer experience and sales leaders and stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- PMP Required
- BA or MS in Business Management or related fields desired
Top 3 Skills:
- Crisis Management and Prevention (MS Specific) Must be within the last 3 years
- PMP Must have certification
