Location: Southaven, MS
Private Family Practice
Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Full Time Position
Competitive salary of $34,000 to $38,000 annually.

Qualifications
Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) OR meets the work eligibility (employed as a medical assistant for a minimum of five out of the last seven years, no more than two years of which may have been as an instructor in a post- secondary medical assistant program. Work experience must include both clinical and administrative duties) required by American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Licensed in the state of MS
Responsibilities:
administrative duties from prescription renewals and referrals to insurance and chart preparation.
Taking vital signs and initial patient information.
determining the reason for the visit.
Administering normal injections and vaccinations.
Relating patient concerns and needs to the physician.
