Job description
Our client, a pharmaceutical automation company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to support automated pharmacy systems. This entry-level role offers opportunities in Elk Grove, IL, Enfield, CT and Stockton, CA, within a dynamic and purposeful environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical fields and a willingness to travel up to 30-70% or more.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and on-call services for automated pharmacy systems
Conduct installations, user training, performance checks, quality control and minor repairs
Manage inventory and communicate issues effectively to management
Ensure timely processing of administrative paperwork
Field Service Engineer Requirements:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, or Electronics
Desirable Associate's Degree or 1-3 years' industry experience
Proficiency in interpreting and communicating technical documentation
Experience in technical fields such as automotive, HVAC, electrical, or related military roles preferred
Self-driven individual with strong organizational and teamwork abilities
Possesses an effective communication style that fosters customer trust and satisfaction
Willingness to travel up to 30-70% or more, including weekends and holidays
Capability to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs or more
Holds a valid driver’s license and maintains a clean driving record
