IATSE Entertainment and Exhibition Industries Training Trust Fund
Program Specialist
Based in Burbank, CA
The IATSE Training Trust Fund (TTF) is looking for a full-time Program Specialist to conduct outreach, coordination and tracking for select training programs of the IATSE Training Trust Fund. This position will work with the TTF Training Tracker maintaining individual course records, handle eligibility for TTF programs, and facilitate access to the TTF Trainer Database.
Organization Overview:
The IATSE Training Trust Fund is a non-profit ERISA labor management training fund that envisions a workforce with the highest level of training in skills, safety, and craftsmanship, available across the IATSE jurisdiction. Our mission is to promote industry-wide recognized standards for safety, skills, and craftsmanship in the entertainment and exhibition industries by:
- Providing training that improves existing skills, develops new skills, embraces technological change, and focuses on the safest way to perform the work of the crafts
- Supporting training opportunities to all employees working under the jurisdiction of the IATSE
- Developing state-of-the-art training tools, resources, and methods
Responsibilities:
- Track IATSE TTF programs and trainings as assigned (specifically being responsible for maintaining the TTF Training Tracker and Program Eligibility)
- Work closely with other TTF program staff to upload student course data and trouble shoot any course data discrepancies. Update and maintain accurate records in the database for individual profiles; combine/correct records as needed.
- Work with the TTF Database vendor to make sure the Training Tracker is operating
- Create and distribute individual, local union and employer Training Tracker accounts
- Work closely and communicate with program beneficiaries, local unions, and employers on assigning Training Tracker accounts and conducting eligibility verification for TTF programs
- Create, issue, and maintain local union and employer TTF Trainer Database access credentials
- Other projects as assigned by the Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: BA
- Experience: 3+ years working for a non-profit, social service, training/education or labor organization working with participants and implementing programs.
