Easy Breezy Accounting & Tax Services is an accounting and bookkeeping company committed to offering local businesses with accessible, high-quality financial guidance and services. We are currently seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and sales and payroll tax filings.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis and preparation.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or 10+ years work experience in accounting.
• Certification as a Bookkeeper or relevant professional certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping roles in mandatory.

Pay: $18.25 - $24.75 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
