Overview :The E-Commerce Scrum Master leads the scrum of the E-Commerce team and also manages ecommerce workstream projects, as needed. In this role, you will facilitate daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, and retro. You will also provide project management of ecommerce workstream of the omni-channel projects.
Responsibilities :Works with product owners, development, QA, and other teams to help ensure execution alignment for Scrum teams
Facilitates Agile Scrum team execution
Supports the creation, refinement, and prioritization of user stories within a product backlog
Identifies and creates metrics that measure and report on team performance, backlog health, and continuous improvement
Administers metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team
Arranges and facilitates daily stand-up meetings and demos/retrospectives. Ensures quick inspection and proper use of an Agile process
Assists in the resolution of impediments to support the timely completion of sprint deliverables and escalate as needed
Maintains and helps to bring closure on RAID (risks, actions, issues, and decisions) items
Encourages and guides the adoption of Agile policies and procedures
Provides coaching on Agile practices and methods for assigned as well as other Scrum teams
Supports the implementation of improvement areas identified in team retrospectives
Fosters close cooperation across all team members
Ensures the work implemented by teams adheres to defined steps and procedures
Manages interdependencies between agile teams
Works with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution
Encourages cross-training and team support
Possesses good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem-solving skills and learning attitude
Manages scrum team resources’ project hours
Prepares weekly progress report for leadership
Acts as a servant leader for multiple teams and their stakeholders
Anticipates and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery (barriers and logistic challenges)
Shoulders additional or changed responsibilities within the eCommerce technology team
Qualifications :Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of combined experience as a program/project manager and/or scrum master
3+ years of experience as a scrum master
1+ years of experience as a scrum master in the E-Commerce domain
Preferred Qualifications:
Scrum Master certification
Worked with the team that has onshore and offshore team members
