Job description

Position Overview:

We are in search of an accomplished Senior Product Manager to enrich our Order Processing domain within the Core Finance Engineering team. Collaborating closely with engineering, product management teams, and our System Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in defining, testing, and implementing the product roadmap for our platform.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization and streamlining of our order capture platform, fostering business model flexibility within a lean and agile environment. Join us in an organization dedicated to continuous improvement.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, Product Management, this position is open for remote work within the US.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define features underlying our domain and the use cases we support.
- Create technical user stories, roadmaps, process flows, and detailed wiki documentation, while effectively managing a story backlog.
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Collaborate with business owners, onshore teams, and Global Engineering teams to drive projects end-to-end, drawing project roadmaps as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of software engineering disciplines, test-driven development, and development methodologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
- Uphold best Agile practices and frameworks, ensuring effective implementation.
- Exhibit excellent frontline leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Document and manage defects from multiple sources, collaborating effectively with teams across multiple geographies.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Product Manager, Quality Analyst, or Project Manager for technical products.
- Experience with Order Management, Billing, Subscription Management & Sales Commissions, etc.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas simply and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
- Understanding of the business value of engineering decisions and their impact on the product life cycle.
- Proficiency in agile software development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
- Experience with S4 HANA, Open Text, or BRIM technology.
- Previous experience in the Software or High-Tech industry.
- Self-motivated, independent, and resourceful.
