- Project planning should be done in logical steps with time allotted to achieve deadlines.
- Consult with management staff, owners, contractors, or designers to discuss and settle issues like work procedures, grievances, or construction issues.
- Create contracts and negotiate contract amendments, additions, and modifications with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and architects
- Create and submit forecasts, status reports, or cost tracking reports.
- As the owner or developer's representative, interpret and clarify plans and contract provisions to administrative personnel, workers, and clients.
- Plan, coordinate, or oversee tasks related to building or maintaining facilities, systems, or structures.
- Take appropriate action to address delays, poor weather, or problems at the building site.
- To ensure that projects adhere to construction and safety codes, as well as other restrictions, inspect or review them.
- Examine work specs to identify the best building techniques.
- Make sure you have all the required licenses and permits.
- Control and oversee employees, making sure they abide by company rules and deadlines
- Create or put in place quality control measures
- At building sites, look into any damage, mishaps, or delays to make sure the right processes are being followed.
- Identify the number of personnel needed and assign them to building sites.
- To accomplish building projects, requisition supplies or resources.
- In order to prepare Work in Progress Reporting, communicate monthly with the Accounting Department.
