At Mosaic, the Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our donor recognition program, volunteer initiatives and community engagement events. If you thrive on creating impactful partnerships, organizing seamless events, and managing fundraising campaigns, this role is for you.
What You Will Do: The Development Coordinator will work as part of the Mosaic Development team to coordinate and support Mosaic’s donor recognition program and volunteer program. Additionally, this position oversees the coordination and execution of Mosaic’s community engagement events. This work will encompass cultivating vendor partnerships, managing event supplies, conducting evaluations and reporting. This position will also spearhead the tracking and coordination of in-kind donations and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, including comprehensive management of the organization fundraising database.
Responsibilities: - Maintain fundraising database, including data entry, gift recording, information management and acknowledgments, with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
- Lead and support logistics for Mosaic’s community engagement events including vendor engagement, event supply management, evaluation, and reporting.
- Recruit and organize volunteers and volunteer program.
- Execute donor recognition program.
- Support the Development team by building lasting relationships in the community in support of Mosaic’s mission.
Skills & Knowledge Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Experience in fundraising campaigns
- Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising
- An articulated belief in the mission of Mosaic
Skills & Knowledge Preferred :
- Familiarity with nonprofits, research methods, data standards, and databases
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge database
- Working knowledge of fundraising best practices
- Volunteer work/coordination
- Event logistics management
