Your role as the Senior Manager, Yield Operations for Walmart Business is critical in enabling our Sales team. You will support quoting, proposal, and closing activities, driving successful outcomes. You will deliver actionable commercial insights, including customer growth and retention metrics. You will also manage the Win Room and orchestrate the execution of GTM plays. This role is embedded in the Revenue Operations group, reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Sales Group Director and Sales Directors to define the sales motions and rules of engagement needed to support the sales rhythm and GTM plays
- Work closely with a team of Account Executives (AEs), Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to provide support for various activities along the sales process (quoting to closing)
- Partner with the Sales Directors (Commercial, Nonprofit, Public Sector) and Senior Manager, Marketing Planning and Strategy to provide relevant pipeline and customer insights
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations Scaled Services, Enablement and Support and Sales Director to facilitate the “win room,” a set of regular meetings while executing GTM plays
- Sales Cycle Support
- Support strategically important deals (e.g., RFP response, quoting, proposal design, bidding process, etc.)
- Standardize business rules around product configuration and pricing, supporting frontline pricing execution
- Commercial Insights and Metrics
- Define and track leading / lagging customer and rep performance metrics (e.g., new and existing customers, growth and retention), enabling Sales Director to proactively manage their team using real-time data and insights, and BDRs and AEs to know where they stand
- Develop push/pull cadence for manager and frontline reporting
- Manage ongoing quota attainment and compensation tracking, ensuring alignment with financial goals and business objectives
- GTM Plays
- Drive the execution of integrated go-to-market plays, e.g., by managing the Win Room
- Support strategically important deals sourced through GTM plays
- Assess the process and rhythm as sales teams engage with prospects and customers and suggest improvement levers to optimize the process

Minimum qualifications:
- Education and experience
- BA/BS Degree
- 5+ years in Sales Operations, with a focus on sales support and developing pipeline / commercial insights
- 8+ years total professional experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the sales process / planning cycle and KPIs for reporting
- Skills
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other analytic tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with various members of the Sales team
- Ability to use data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and drive productivity and innovation in sales approaches
- Industry knowledge
- Familiarity with B2B retail (platforms / value proposition) and procurement
- Understanding of the competitive landscape and key players in B2B retail
- Adaptability
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
