Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: North Carolina
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. They utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides leadership for the delivery of professional nursing care to patients.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and their families.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position.
Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Health entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval.
Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, the licensee should confirm with NCBON Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
One-year hospital nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in Nursing.
National Certification in area of specialty.
2+ years in a large ICU setting in a trauma center.
Compensation:
Minimum salary: $24/hr
Maximum salary: $43.65/hr
Differentials: 2nd Shift-$4/hr., 3rd Shift-$6/hr. Weekend-$3.50/hr.
This position is eligible for an extra $5/hr float pool premium once off orientation (8-12 weeks).
Sign-on/Relocation Assistance - Up to $15K (NIGHT SHIFT ONLY) sign-on bonus/relocation assistance available for qualified candidates with a 2-year commitment. Paid out 1st first check.
General Comments:
Busy units with high acuity; High volume.
Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1 may be 1:2.
CRTs, Vents, Proning, Temp Control, etc.
Nurse-driven, autonomous, modified self-scheduling.
ED experience is welcome.
NO NEW GRADS.
