Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a full time Environmental Services Tech in our Shreveport, Louisiana location.
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas of the facility in a thorough and professional manner. this position is an important part of our team because you will keep the patient's room clean so the patient and family can focus on healing. Cleaning services include: floor care to include mopping, striping, buffing, and waxing; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies; dust furniture, wash walls, equipment and high touch areas according to departmental policies. Assist with moving furniture and trash to outside dumpster.
1 Year Environmental Services Preferred
High School Diploma/GED Preferred
In accordance with local and system policies, all SHC employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to be eligible for hire.
Pay Range: $12.61- -18.91
This position is full-time, non-exempt and benefits eligible.
Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.
