Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to join our esteemed team. As the Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our culinary legacy while spearheading the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee all culinary operations at Anthony's Ocean View, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste in every dish.
- Develop and curate innovative menus that showcase the finest in Italian-inspired cuisine, utilizing locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with event planners and coordinators to customize menus and accommodate special dietary requests for weddings and events.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize kitchen efficiency to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
- Stay abreast of culinary trends and industry developments, continuously seeking opportunities for menu enhancement and refinement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the highest quality ingredients at competitive prices.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
- Creative flair for menu development and culinary innovation, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices, with certification in ServSafe or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
