Job description
Pueo has an opportunity for an experienced TS/SCI cleared Expert Citrix Engineer to join our team in Lorton, VA. The Expert Citris Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and implementing Windows virtual machines within the Intelligence Community (IC).
** This is an on-site role**
We are seeking a seasoned Citrix Engineer with a strong background in designing, deploying, managing, and securing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud systems. In this crucial role, the engineer will manage deployments and maintain a multi-enclave infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations and peak system performance. Support duties may include updating and supporting systems by tuning performance, implementing critical patches, reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot technical issues related to the Citrix environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud systems,
- Steer complete lifecycle management of Citrix infrastructure within multi-enclave environments, focusing on continuous service and performance enhancement,
- Uphold strict security measures to maintain system integrity and safeguard against security threats
- Regularly administer system updates and patches to preserve software integrity and regulatory compliance,
- Analyze system performance logs, pinpoint irregularities, and troubleshoot complex issues within the Citrix landscape,
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to strengthen security protocols and perform thorough system audits,
- Deliver user technical support, ensuring reliable and effective operation of Citrix services,
- Produce comprehensive documentation for technical procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent blend of formal education and hands-on experience,
- 8+ years of dedicated experience in a Citrix engineering role with an emphasis on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix ADC,
- Must have a solid foundation in initial requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and installation,
- Demonstrated success in administering Citrix infrastructures within secure, multi-enclave environments,
- Profound knowledge of network and application security principles, particularly in government or defense contexts,
- Authorization to legally work in the U.S. and capacity to maintain the required government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Citrix certifications such as Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA), Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE), or Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA),
- Experience in several of the following areas: Scripting, Powershell, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Certificates (PKI), Application configurations,
Proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, - Hands-on experience with Citrix Cloud services and cloud migration strategies.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting to streamline Citrix service management.
