Role Summary As a Radiation Therapist, you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiation treatment of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiation treatments.
Your key responsibilities: Clinical Practice - Personally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Center and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Patient Care - Ensures established patient care standards are maintained.
- Treats all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.
- Maintains confidentiality on all issues.
- Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
Teamwork and communication - Demonstrates ability to participate as an active and effective member of a team.
- Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Participates in team meetings and activities.
Other - Perform other tasks as reasonably requested.
Experience: - Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare services
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.
The salary range for California residents is $55 to $70 hourly. Pay is determined by (but not limited to) education, work experience, and certifications.
