IT SPECIALIST / SENIOR IT SPECIALIST
Field Consulting - Technology Services

Technology Services is looking for an IT Specialist or Senior IT Specialist to join their Field Consulting Team. IT Specialists provide IT support, technical advice and consulting services for assigned units across campus. This includes supporting both Windows and Macintosh-based systems in an enterprise infrastructure environment; and deploying and maintaining various types of endpoints including servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and printers. This position reports to the Manager of IT Solution Services who reports to the Assistant Director of IT Client Services. While some work flexibility is available, the position will be located on-campus.

Job Summary
IT Specialists for the Field Consulting team are responsible for customizing IT services, solutions, and support to meet the unique IT needs of their assigned campus unit(s). Areas of support may include, but are not limited to, end user support, desktop configuration, active directory, local infrastructure, hardware, software, system administration, and networking.

Appointment Information


This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5031 - Information Technology Technical Associate position, overtime exempt and appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 3/11/2024. Salary range starts at $57,000 annual for the Specialist level and $67,000 for the Senior level. Final salary is determined by a combination of internal equity and experience.


Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
