Title: Supplier Quality Specialist
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6 months Responsibilities
Provide onsite support and coordination for company’s Healthcare Supplier Quality Systems remediation activities at company’s Healthcare Corporate Roswell campus
Support and coordinate the activities of both onsite Roswell support personnel as well as those of additional resources from company divisions assigned temporarily to support this project
Provide liaison between the divisions to ensure all actions required are completed according to the plan
Provide status updates on remediation activities to senior level staff and recommendations for Quality Systems changes required
Key areas of focus will include assessing audit date of all applicable suppliers, collect supplier contact info and send self-assessments to required suppliers, review assessments for completion and follow up, obtain proof of capability for products supplies (capability studies, validations, etc.), review for adequacy, provide input for execution of remediation plan, confirm specification on file for completion and accuracy with supplier
Provide input to send updated specifications as necessary, issue supplier surveys and assessments to suppliers, review documentation for completeness and compliance, file documentation to supplier file, facilitate logistics in revising and finalizing supplier quality agreements
Follow up with internal stakeholders and suppliers to obtain final approvals, assist in filing agreements with supplier files.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Supplier quality engineering experience
Supplier Quality Agreement writing proficiency – will be drafting and coordinating with suppliers on their quality contracts
Supplier management metrics familiarity – understanding the data needs and generating different types of visuals and data trending on all statuses of the approved supplier list on a weekly basis
