Job description
Administers, directs, and coordinates activities of patient care within the Women's Center under the guidance of the Nursing Director of the Women's Center. Responsible for the evaluation of patient care delivery. Supports the Nursing Director's efforts to maintain interdepartmental quality controls and provides for departmental participation in performance improvement within the Women's Center and organization wide. Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. One year nursing experience. Current US state RN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Current AHA ACLS/ARC ALS certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire. NRP certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire. Completion of the Rhythm Interpretation Course CLEP test or classroom course or obtained within 3 months. Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to use personal protective equipment such as gloves, mask, gown, etc Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
