Job description

Fasano Restaurants and Hotels is a Brazilian-based hospitality company specializing in boutique hotels and Italian restaurant concepts. Their first New York property, Fasano Fifth Avenue, is a full service boutique hotel, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Their first restaurant in New York is located in the heart of midtown East.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef at Fasano Fifth Avenue in New York, NY. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Cuisine in all aspects of food preparation, managing and training kitchen staff, ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes, and adhering to all health and safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and managing food and labor costs.
