Are you prepared to make a real difference in people's lives? Join as a Controller? The Controller keeps our general accounting system and financial reporting up to date by applying accounting and statistical analysis principles. Oversees the collection, review, analysis, and evaluation of financial data, as well as the preparation of reports for county and state entities. Administrative, fiscal, and supervisory responsibilities in the Finance and Accounting department. The position is critical for financial accounting, grant accounting, and financial reporting.
-Provide supervision and direction to assigned staff.
-Responsible for financial and grant accounting, treasury services, investments, and financial reporting.
-Prepare monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors.
-Prepare and submit quarterly CARE reports to DSHS and DADS.
-Maintain the chart of accounts and report structures in the financial reporting software.
-Prepare monthly invoices for contracts with counties and state agencies.
-Prepare a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
-Respond to requests from the center management, auditors, and stakeholders.
-Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
-Bachelors degree in Accounting
-7+ years of accounting experience
-CPA preferred
-Grant accounting experience
-Treasury experience
