About the Role & Program
Have you traveled or studied abroad and enjoyed learning about cultures and international business? As a Corporate Global Mobility Intern, you will gain valuable experience working closely with the Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, Legal, and Immigration teams to provide support for the mobilization of Disney talent both domestically and internationally.
What You Will Do
Working alongside Managers and Specialists, this role is responsible for assisting the Global Mobility U.S. Domestic and International teams with daily administrative functions and project management support.
- Initiate vendor services and payments, and act as a liaison between assignee and service providers
- Book relocation travel, home leaves, dependent travel, and relocation travel for international assignees
- Support special projects (e.g. presentations for leadership; ad hoc reporting; developing process documentation; billing audits, and updating the team document library)
- Maintain, update, and build trackers and reports for internal and external GM partners
- Supervise international business travelers (IBTs) across the Company (both US outbound and inbound), including manual scanning of travel reports to identify IBTs
- Assist with the remaining implementation modules of APro including testing new functionality
- Provide support to various tasks including data entry, reporting, deck preparation, and administrative work
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, diligent self-starter
- Ability to multi-task in a highly fluid environment
- Strong communication skills and a client service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity about Global Mobility processes and system implementation & testing
- Prior experience living or working in another country
Education
- Currently enrolled or graduated within the past six months majoring in Business, Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a closely related field
Preferred Education
- Currently pursuing a Graduate degree in a related field of study
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 – January 2025
- Candidate must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship – full availability preferred
- This internship is a remote position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
