Here's your opportunity: Under direction from the Product Manager, support the corporate-wide activities associated with managing a product line from conceptual stages through end of life cycle to optimize profit, sales and brand objectives.
Here's how you'll contribute :
- Support all activities surrounding the management of a product line.
- Develop cross-reference guides, technical support tools, marketing and sales tools.
- Assist in product line strategic planning activities including R&D needs, operational team member requirements, and development of financial objectives.
- Manage and lead day-to-day progress of product line.
- Provide product expertise and training.
- Conduct marketing analysis to develop product definitions.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain external relationships with customers, distributors, and representatives.
- Maintain all product information for the product line.
- Other related duties and projects as required.
Here's why we want you:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in Marketing, Product/Brand Management, Technical Sales or Engineering Management.
- One (1) to two (2) years new product development experience.
- Experience in education, healthcare, plumbing, building products, occupational safety or MRO markets beneficial.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
