$20.00 To 30.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS software, including set-up instructions.
- Perform in-process and final dimensional inspection using CMM and conventional inspection methods
- Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) including recording results on AS9102 forms
- Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications
- Assist engineers with qualification and validation of new or changed tooling or parts.
- Analyze problem parts and suggest potential root case and corrective/preventive actions
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports
- Generate ideas and suggestions for reducing inspection turnaround time.
- Performance shall be within the guidelines of the company’s policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent; at least one (3) years of related experience and/or training;
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance)
- Working knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines with DCC controls
- Familiarity with PC DMIS v2010
- ISO9001 experience preferred
- Proficient blueprint GD&T and shop math skills
- Experience in inspection of parts to customer drawings and specification
- Working knowledge of inspection gages (i.e. calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, air gages, radius gages, etc.)
- Knowledge of customer engineering specifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply customer defined standards and specifications
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to read and write English
- Willingness to question anything that doesn’t make sense or may be in error
