Job description
The Nurse Manager, Chemical Dependency Inpatient Program is responsible for the Turning Point Inpatient Detoxification and Rehabilitation Unit treatment programs, and overall responsibility for the Stabilization Center RNs, ensuring both their quality of care and their effective and efficient operational functioning. The Nurse Manager also coordinates treatment and facilitates communication with key personnel from other parts of the program, including nursing, medical, and intake/marketing staff.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience providing alcoholism/substance abuse treatment. Education and Training:BSN preferred as well as satisfactory completion of a training program in the treatment of alcoholism or substance abuse and/or chemical dependence. License, Certification and Registration:Current New York State licensure or certification as a registered nurse. Other Requirements:Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, management and team building skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to design and implement tracking systems for documentation and other program requirements.
