Job Summary
As HR business partner you are responsible for the entire employee lifecycle in your region (Canada, Brazil, Mexico, South America and North America) and efficient running HR systems, value adding HR practices and high quality HR policies and procedures. Your de catalyst for cultural engagement, diversity and improving organization effectiveness by coaching and influencing business leaders in order to meet our strategic results. This is a hybrid role.
How You Can Be the Impact
- Translate business needs into HR strategy, goals and action plans to make individual and team performance a competitive advantage through strategic planning, staffing and development.
- Lead the talent agenda including workforce planning, talent acquisition, career development and succession planning to ensure strong talent pipeline.
- Provide input and guidance for performance feedback, employee development, and performance management to enhance individual and team performance. Support effective talent reviews to develop and deploy talent effectively.
- Establish effective engagement and communication plans to ensure the organization understands key business goals, measurements, initiatives, and progress.
- Support and provide guidance for organization design and development with a specific focus on communication and change management to improve organization capabilities and a culture aimed at ownership, empowerment and accountability.
- Perform market research, various employment/labor studies to ensure competitive employer branding to attract and retain the right talent
- Actively contribute to global and regional initiatives and coaching regional leaders to sharpen their managerial and leadership capabilities
- Provide direction and coaching to HR operations partners in your region and help them in their development and growth.
What Matters to SABIC
- BS Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or business-related field; Master’s Degree preferred
- 8+ years of HR experience, preferably with generalist experience in the assigned region (Canada, Brazil, Mexico, South America and North America).
- Ability to develop relationships & influence leaders.
- Knowledge of employment law, HR Policies and best practices.
- Experience working in matrix organizations, influencing across cultures, leading cross-functional projects and establishing & maintaining strong relationships with Management.
- Proven experience working independently/autonomously.
- Experience managing multiple client responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and to adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work effectively with leaders and employees across functions and different levels of the organization
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Relocation provided
