Salary: $6608.00 - $8887.00 Monthly

Responsibilities:
--Maintenance and development of the Washington Geologic Information Portal.
--Maintenance and development of the Washington Lidar Portal.
--Maintenance and development of custom web products, such as the creation of a new searchable publications catalog for our website and maintenance of our existing WA100 geoheritage website.
--Act as the Survey expert on coding and provide support in the development of custom scripts as needed for GIS applications as well as data manipulation and management.
--Effective time management and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
--Good communication, teamwork, and a positive, diligent work ethic.
--Creativity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn new skills.
Required Qualifications:
--Bachelor’s degree in information technology or closely related field; AND 4 years of experience including: designing, building, testing, and maintaining full-stack web applications in JavaScript/TypeScript, including those with a geospatial component AND Working with REST or SOAP APIs;
OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
--Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
--Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
--Demonstrated commitment to fostering and supporting an environment that honors diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice practices.
--Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and public records retention and requests are followed.
