About this Role
ENERGY SERVICES WEST
Energy Services West is seeking aGIS Coordinatorto support our growing design and construction team based in Spokane, Washington. This is a junior level position, which will focus on data capture for ESW ProTRAQ® and other project-related internal needs. ProTRAQ® is a fully customizable quality management tool developed by ESW GIS. It allows select project stakeholders to gain a clear, real-time view into quality metrics. The ideal candidate is an efficient leader, communicator and problem-solver who is very comfortable using the latest ArcGIS software and is experienced with an array of geoprocessing tools and their capabilities to problem solve and provide work-around solutions to common ArcGIS processing errors and obstacles especially related to field data capture. You will be encouraged to leverage the latest advancements in GIS software and processing techniques to optimize the experience for our end-users and clients.
What You'll Do
General set up and maintenance of ProTRAQ® and Production Tracking projects
Coordinate appropriate data capture techniques based on project needs - typically utilizing ArcGIS Survey and/or Field Maps
Coordinate meetings - internal and with client
Directly interface with clients to hone-in on project support needs
Delegate technical duties to Technicians when needed
Perform quality checks
Build survey123 forms, create maps for Field Maps
Report weekly on activities to manager
Research and development for data capture
Direct/manage python scripts for automation of process workflows
Troubleshoot issues in real-time
Patient and collaborative approach to working with field clients
What You'll Bring
GIS/GISP Certification AND/OR Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3 years' experience using ArcGIS in a GIS Technician (or equivalent) role with applied cartography, database management, and spatial analysis.
Demonstrated ability to comfortably operate ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Microsoft Excel (and other Microsoft Suite).
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $36.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
