Job description
Be the key point of contact and connection between YMC’s account team and our clients
Drive the strategic direction and planning of new and ongoing client campaigns
Supervise the work of internal account team to ensure quality, timeliness, profitability, and results
Assume team responsibility for exceeding client expectations and identifying growth opportunities
Manage and mentor junior internal employees
Identify project priorities, assign tasks, and proactively identify areas of efficiency
Help develop new relationships with potential clients to grow agency business
4-year college/university degree
5 - 10 years of work experience; agency experience preferred
At least 2 years of project and team management experience
Experience managing projects of national scale with major brands or clients
Outstanding communication, problem solving, and presentation skills
Strong organization and time management
Unrelenting attention to detail and an eye for compelling content
Advanced knowledge of digital and social media best practices
Has an entrepreneurial spirit and loves to take on new challenges
Has experience managing projects of national scale with major brands
Understands how to navigate the campus landscape, including the management of students, administration, and key organizational stakeholders
Has a genuine interest in youth culture and keeps up with industry trends
Is a self-starter, takes pride in their work, and generally gives a damn
Works well independently or on a team and communicates in an open, honest manner
