An award-winning hospital in South Florida is actively searching for an Evening Shift or Night Shift ASCP-Certified Medical Technologist MT to join their outstanding laboratory services team!

This reputable 220+ bed short term acute care hospital is prepared to offer a wide variety of advanced medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: 24/7 Emergency Services, Adult and Pediatric Medical Surgical Care, Oncology Services, Inpatient and Same Day Surgery, and much more. This facility has achieved Accreditation by the Joint Commission in addition to receiving a number of awards for high quality patient care and patient safety. The Medical Technologist MT will join the professional laboratory services team at this nonprofit healthcare organization.

Multiple shifts are available for the Medical Technologist MT including evening shifts from 2pm-10:30pm and night shifts from 10:30pm-6am. This hospital is seeking a Bachelor's-prepared Medical Technologist with ASCP Certification. The Medical Technologist MT will become responsible for autonomous specimen testing and lab test results reporting within this full-service laboratory with all new equipment. The Medical Technologist will conduct testing according to current protocols and procedures in order to maintain a high standard of patient care. The MT (ASCP) will have the wonderful opportunity to utilize their knowledge and experience to maintain autonomy in the laboratory, working under minimal supervision of the Executive Director of Laboratory Services.
