Job Summary:
Grand Circle Corporation is a leading travel operator serving Americans over the age of 55. We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Director to join the Project Delivery team. As a Director of Project Delivery, you will be uniquely positioned to have line of sight and influence over GCC’s most strategic and complex initiatives with impacts across multiple departments. More specifically, you will lead an organization of technical project managers focused on partnering with lines of business and horizontal Technology teams to help them execute their top priorities. You will leverage agile methodologies while ensuring well-managed, timely and effective delivery. You will also escalate, and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning respective programs to ensure appropriate execution all while coaching and developing a high performing team. Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
- Driving all phases of project management to include feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation, resource planning and management, budget management and close out of projects
- Effectively applying agile project management methodology and standards, and ensuring project documents are complete and up to date.
- Displaying cross-functional teamwork, communication, negotiation and leading across all levels
- Partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
- Working with cross functional teams and influencing others to work toward common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints.
- Creating transparency and fostering relationships to adjacent teams
- Lead the organization to streamline processes, simplify and accelerate execution, manage objectives and key results, release on time, and bring tooling efficiencies.
- Utilize technical judgment and program management expertise to deliver impactful business and customer outcomes.
- Responsible for quality control for all outputs from the team within your assigned portfolio.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining program and portfolio governance across your assigned portfolio.

- Proven ability to build a team strategy and effectively develop and lead a team of associates in pursuit of top performance.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- High degree of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; prioritizes based on impact and makes difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines
- Experience running large-scale company-wide initiatives requiring collaboration across a broad set of partners and participants.
- Solid knowledge of Scrum, agile, portfolio management, resource management, business process management, and budget management
- Effective communicator – ability to create clarity amongst diverse groups from team members to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills – ability to establish metrics and utilize data to measure operational efficiency, team health, and partnership effectiveness
- Asks the tough questions and challenges the status quo
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Management
- At least 3 years of experience in People Management
- At least 2 years of experience in Strategic planning
