Position: Grant Writer Department: Community Engagement Reporting To: Nicole Celeste Marquel, Grants Manager Classification: Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday (flexible, Hybrid, with occasional evenings & weekends)

As a Grant Writer at Lifeline Community Services, you are more than just a staff member - you're a vital contributor to our mission of transforming lives through high-quality community support and service delivery.

What You Will Do:

• Innovate and Impact: Use your creativity to develop grant proposals that resonate with foundation founders and align with our mission. Your work will directly contribute to funding programs that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
• Research and Strategize: Identify and research potential grant opportunities to expand our reach and impact. Your strategic thinking will guide our fundraising efforts.
• Engage and Build Relationships: Develop materials and strategies that foster strong relationships with donors, amplifying our mission and work.
• Collaborate and Grow: Work closely with our enthusiastic team, gaining insights into non-profit operations and contributing your unique ideas.

• A storyteller with a passion for writing and a knack for conveying compelling narratives.
• Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects seamlessly.

• Someone with a heart for community service, keen to contribute to meaningful work.

Required:

• BA in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of grant writing experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.

Other Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license.
