POSITION SUMMARY: - The HRIS Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Human Resources Information Systems.

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team! This role involves configuring Dayforce to align with ongoing business needs, generating insightful reports to support various HR functions, configuration and testing of system changes, troubleshooting interfaces, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst ensures that all data is accurately processed and maintained in accordance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: - HRIS Administration:
- Develop and customize HRIS functionalities to meet evolving business requirements and support the efficient operation of HR processes.
- Serve as first point of contact to consult with users in diagnosing and resolving system issues.
- Manage roles and permissions for users and execute user security requests.
- Continuously create and maintain Jobs/Job Assignments table as well as Organization table.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the workflows, policies and procedures, business objectives, industry practices, regulatory requirements.
- System Configuration and Development:
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to define system requirements and streamline HR processes through effective use of the HRIS.
- Research and stay updated on HR technology trends and best practices to propose innovative solutions and enhancements to the HRIS.
- Partner with Senior HRIS Manager on system enhancements through assessment, configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Data Management and Integrity:
- Ensure data integrity and security within the HRIS, implementing appropriate controls and protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Assist in the development and documentation of HRIS policies, procedures, and user guides to ensure standardized practices and compliance with regulations.
- Design and maintain system processes, procedures, import templates, and support documentation.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on Dayforce functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system utilization.
- Collaboration and Integration:
- Collaborate with IT, Finance and other departments as needed to integrate HRIS with other systems and databases for seamless data exchange and functionality.
- Work interactively with business process owners and provide functional guidance and knowledge in architecting a best practice solution to fit business needs.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze reports to provide actionable insights for HR decision-making, including compensation analysis, compliance reporting, performance metrics, and workforce planning.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and reports that can be used at a national level.
- Assist with compliance reporting (AAP, EEO-1, CA Pay Data, etc.).
COMPETENCIES: - Knowledge of HR processes and regulations, including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic organizational setting.
- Proven ability to work creatively, innovatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 2 – 4 working with HRIS systems, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and tools, with experience in system configuration, report generation, and data analysis.
- Dayforce experience preferred.
- Human Resources or Payroll practitioner experience an asset, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
