Behavioral Health Services Director

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a prestigious healthcare organization near Reno, NV, seeking a passionate and experienced Behavioral Health Services Director. Job Description:

As the Behavioral Health Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of behavioral health programs and services. Your primary duties will include:

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral health programs to ensure high-quality services.
• Leading and mentoring a dedicated team of behavioral health professionals.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment plans.
• Establishing and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Analyzing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Engaging in community outreach and fostering partnerships to promote mental health awareness.
  
  

Required:

• Five years of progressive leadership responsibility in an acute or outpatient services setting.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care facility practicing as a BHS Social Worker, BHS Nurse, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or Counselor
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or behavioral health
• Within 6 months of hire must complete the Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training course
  
  

Preferred:

• Masters degree in nursing, behavioral health or other related field
• Nursing leadership certification, such as Nursing Executive or Nursing Executive Advanced
