Instrumentation Technician

1st Shift - $90k+

Description:

The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for all Instrumentation Control and Networking as it relates to process control, process instrumentation electrical switchgear and plant computer networks.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Supports and maintains an instrument calibration program, which meets ISO 9000 requirements and ensures that all plant instrumentation is calibrated to required specifications.

Maintains electrical switchgear, primarily 480V and lower.

Supports project manager on all instrumentation related capital projects to define scope, purpose and costs.

Develop PLC logic to establish necessary process controls, and troubleshoot PLC logic to identify and correct operational issues.

Operates in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.

Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area.

Complies with all corporate/plant policies and procedures.

Skills:

PLC, instrumentation, calibration, Allen-bradley, Blueprint, Troubleshooting, Electrical, Plc programming, ISO 9000, 480V

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years Knowledgeable in all areas of instrumentation including, but not limited to, pressure, temperature, level, flow, pH, conductivity and O2 measurement.

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
