Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides direct mental health clinical treatment to a variety of individuals which may include children/adolescents, adults and via telehealth.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide evaluation/problem identification, crisis interventions and individual and/or group therapy to clients
- Develops monitors, and follow up of client case management treatment plans
- Provide services in a variety of settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Center and industry standards
- Participates in meetings and in services
- Participates in supervision sessions
- Performs other job duties as assigned

EDUCATION:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Registered in the State of California as a Candidate
- Active License in the State of California as a LPCC, LMFT or LCSW
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work well with special populations along with maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy
- Able to identify and nurture strengths and support client rights to make independent decisions
- Skill to serve culturally diverse populations that may have a bearing on service provision
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with the DSM and diagnostic techniques.
- Demonstrates effective time management and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as a team member
- Knowledge of basic computer literacy such as e-mail communication and word processing
- Ability to work flexible and on-call hours, which may be required
