Summary/Objective:
The Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager will work with the Director of Sales and other corporate team
members to achieve the goals of Supply New England. The areas of focus for the position are branch
sales growth, associate development, and promotional marketing. The main purpose will be to assist in
leading the sales and marketing activities at the branch level.

Sales:

• Act as a liaison in implementing corporate programs laid out by the director of sales and other
  corporate team members.
• Provide sales training when necessary to help develop associates and to further implement
  corporate direction and policy.
• Sell and promote the items and brands that we stock and prioritize –successfully convert
  customers to our preferred brands.
• Demonstrate comprehensive company knowledge and articulate competitive advantage.
• Build relationships; know the value of relationships and understand that building relationships is a
  key to success.
• Accurately follow procedures to ensure high quality output and take action to correct quality
  concerns.
• Support the customer training department by driving behavior at the branch level that ensures
  strong attendance at company trainings.
• Create and provide performance reports to the branches to assist in their growth objectives.
• Assist in virtual or in person sales meetings by occasionally leading the meeting or coordinating
  vendor participation.
• Ensure best in class customer service is met at each branch to maximize customer satisfaction.

Marketing:

• Maintain vendor relationships and participate in meetings set up by the director(s) to review and
  finalize plans for promotions or events.
• Coordinate with third party vendors to accomplish event requirements to ensure successful
  outcomes.
• Promote current marketing programs and events by participating with the sales team to ensure
  strong performance and attendance.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the “Lunch and Learn” schedule yearly.
  o Accomplishing the current growth goals of the company.
• Assist in the editing and preview of social media posts and promotional flyers to ensure accuracy
  and company integrity is maintained.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
5+ Years of industry-related experience – plumbing, heating, or HVAC
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Sales or a Management related field.
Experience working in a corporate environment is preferred.
Management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
