Job description

SUMMARY
Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Consulting Psychiatrist for one of the largest Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in Oklahoma. We provide a positive work culture, flexibility and innovative technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with primary treating prescribers
• Consult in recurring treatment team meetings
• Provide staff supervision and training to prescribers
• Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
• Directs and collaborates with prescribers to develop, revise, maintain and supervise team psychopharmacologic and medical treatment and medication policies and procedures
• Participates in ongoing in-service education programs and staff development programs
• Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn Agency policy, rules, regulations, and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO with a specialty in psychiatry
• Board certified and Licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma
• Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
• Preferred previous program development and supervisory experience
• Preferred previous community presentation experience
