Material Handler

Placing material in the designated area, able to safely operate electric pallet jacks, forklift, other various duties. Heavy lifter. Stage materials at the production lines and move finished goods to the conveyor area for the lower warehouse.

Material Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:45am to 05:00pm)

• Assimilate Bill of Materials requirements by line

• Accurately pick, deliver, and return raw materials to and from production lines as needed using a handheld scanner – Radio frequency handheld scanner

• Complete finished goods receipts and generate a pallet label using a handheld scanner

• Inspects finished goods pallets for accuracy

• Follow all company policies

• Safely operate lift trucks and electric pallet jacks

• Overtime work may be required

• Maintains proper housekeeping while performing duties. Required to assist where needed.

Material Handler Qualifications:

Ability to read and develop raw material lists from production orders. Adequate written and verbal communication skills, basic math skills. Able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance, capable of lifting 20 pounds over head.
