Job Description
The Senior Financial Systems/Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and analyzing various activities and initiatives related to business systems for Asbury and affiliated entities, in collaboration with appropriate/various stakeholders and in alignment with the mission, vision, values and goals of Asbury Communities.
Supports and assists in facilitating the organizations financial systems and tools; including Asbury’s ERP, budgeting/forecasting system, business analytics, paperless accounts payable, financial reporting.
- A primary focus supporting the Finance organization’s ERP, NetSuite and reporting tool, Solver. Supports the team, coordinating reporting, tools, and enhancements. Coordinates with developers and users to prioritize and deliver new and expanded functionality. Performs administrative systems functions and supports existing production and sandbox environments.
- · Additional focus supporting Asbury’s business analytics – Qlik. Coordinates and develops new applications and visualizations with end users and IT. Works to develop additional KPIs with internal clients.
- Supports and development of the Budget and Forecast versions and develops, enhances and revises models to support existing and new business lines. Performs administrative functions and facilitates annual data integrations between Adaptive Insights, Microsoft Office 365 and other systems
- Additionally, supports other business systems such as paperless document management (invoicing), asset management corporate card and other areas.
- Provides end user education, support and guidance for system and tools. Develops and publishes communications to inform and educate users about features, functions and benefits of systems.
- Helps to perform functionality reviews, system evaluation, new implementation or upgrades and education for core systems. Works to integrate new affiliates and new lines of service into the core systems. Seeks out opportunities to adopt and adapt automation and remove manual processes where identified.
- Works with all levels of the organization to standardized metadata and master data. Promotes Master Data Governance for existing and new systems. Looks to integrate data from additional systems: Marketing, Operations, HR, etc into Data Warehouse and analytics solutions
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years working with an ERP.
- 3+ years experience with NetSuite – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Financial Report Writer, Workflows, Saved Searches
- Experience implementing and building business analytics solutions (Qlik, Power BI, Quicksight or comparable)
- Experience with Adaptive Insights.
- Experience with document management and expense management systems desired
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or Accounting or relevant field.
