Located in Washington DC, we are a Nuclear Electric Power Generation company on a mission to decarbonize global energy production and increase access to clean, affordable power. We are a full-service developer of small modular nuclear power projects with the goal of finally scaling nuclear by dramatically reducing the time and cost of construction. 

Position Overview: The Engineering Design Project Manager will be overseeing a variety of disciplines - mechanical, electrical, nuclear, thermo-fluids, etc.. This person will be responsible for the successful management of engineering design projects from inception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques and must be an excellent problem solver with the ability to think critically and make decisions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering design projects from the initiation phase through completion
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resources
• Identify risks associated with the project and develop mitigation plans
• Track and report project progress against timeline, budget, and quality goals
• Manage project stakeholders and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks in a timely manner
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in engineering project management
• Gantt Chart master
• Project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet)
• Experience in a product-oriented startup with fast culture and history of success

Preferred:

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)
