Job description

At DB, we strive to evolve to help our clients and the world, Do Better. Our team of skilled and talented engineers work closely with our clients, helping them address challenges related to Sustainability, Energy Management, Maintenance/Operational Effectiveness, and Digital Transformation.

While primarily a mechanical firm, technology is drastically changing the industry and so core competencies in developing and applying technologies has become paramount. With your technical expertise you will help develop tools and processes which enable scalable analysis and action to be taken from data generated by Smart Buildings.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software that supports internal or client use cases
• Working with an Agile-based delivery team
• Reviewing code written by others

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years professional experience in software development using Java and Python
• Experience with Spring or similar frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and data integrations
• Experience with MQTT and other IoT protocols
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
