Job description

Our client, a reputable public accounting firm, is currently seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client engagements, including audits, tax preparation, and consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Perform audits of client financial records, including analyzing documents and conducting fieldwork
• Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation
• Conduct research on technical accounting and tax issues
• Provide support to clients and internal teams
• Assist with tax planning and compliance
• Stay up to date with accounting and tax regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification or working towards CPA
• 1-3 years of experience in public accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
