The Opportunity  

The Resource Sharing Coordinator reports to the User Services Manager and will be joining the User Services team which  provides user-centered services (circulation, technology lending, course readings, and resource sharing). The Resource Sharing Coordinator  is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of interlibrary  loan , as well as acting as the liaison between Collection Management and  U ser Services .   

This position is a full-time classified position (40hrs/week) and works on-campus. Flexible work arrangements can be negotiated, but position requires 75% on site work. 


Colorado School of Mines is looking to fill this position by early May but is willing to negotiate a later start.

Responsibilities  

The Resource Sharing Coordinator supports and advances the mission of the Library and the Colorado School of Mines through a variety of methods, such as:

Manage and Coordinate Resource Sharing Services

Circulation & User Services Team Support

Collection Management Team Support  

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with  demonstrated commitment to public service and the ability to interact with a diverse population of Mine’s affiliates and public members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Only: 

Three (3) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, such as:

Education and Experience: 

A combination of related education and/or   demonstrated   experience in the use of library catalogs, databases, and web search platforms   equal to three (3) years
