Description
As a Controls Engineer II, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to perfect your controls experience while integrating some of the most state of the art robotics & technology available. What You’ll Do:
- Develop controls for conceptual designs and propose a proper solution for customers, sales and quoting groups.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and present ideas or collect requirement.
- Review customer control specifications and guidelines
- Ability to solve practical problems with no standard solution.
- Supporting Account Managers and the senior application manager with proposals.
- Support the team to develop a comprehensive quote package that incorporates necessary documentation for internal and external audiences such as Risk Assessments, Cycle Time Charts, etc.
- Support project manager, identify and supervise subject matter experts that are needed for the project after receiving PO.
- Direct supervision of the electrical team and other staff.
- Work cross functionally with all departments.
- Plan, direct, organize and control the build process and related costs.
- Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
- Manage and mentor Interns, engineers and contractors who report to after market directly or indirectly.
- Justify and execute projects that drive market growth, cost savings, quality improvements, and cycle time reduction.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering field or related industry experience.
- Minimum Training: 2+ years of controls experience
- Proficient in Engineering processes and tools such as AutoCAD.
Skills You’ll Have:
- Experience with any the following: PLC's, HMI's, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, Vision Systems and/or Programming.
- Experience with CAD (i.e. AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks).
- Ability to understand electrical/pneumatic schematic drawings.
