Position Description:

The Department of Urology at the University of Iowa seeks to recruit a urologist specializing in Pediatric Urology.  Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level and to either the tenure track or clinical (non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and research interest.

Flocks Urology Clinic at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics delivers unparalleled expertise in areas that include minimally invasive robotics, advanced reconstructive surgery, and diagnosis and treatment of urologic cancers, and it is home to the only team of board-certified pediatric urologists in Iowa.

Education Requirement:

Candidates must hold an MD/DO degree or equivalent and have completed an accredited urology residency program.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa. 

Tenure track candidates must demonstrate research experience with evidence of scholarly productivity at the University level.

Certifications:

Candidate must be board certified or board eligible.  

Desirable Qualifications:

Candidates with prior teaching experience are desired. 

Fellowship training in a preferred sub-specialty is desired.
