ITA is seeking a Financial Manager/Resource Advisor to join the team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.
- The Financial Manager/Resource Advisor will provide direct support for managing, evaluating, and coordinating all financial and budgetary programs.
- Assist and advise organization leadership team on design and implementation of data analysis tools and software to track and assign financial resources.
- Perform a variety of resource advisor and financial management functions to include program management reviews and assessments of programs, completion of budgetary forms in DEAMS and other financial programs.
- Provide complex substantive resource management support services in the areas of program analysis, annual/multi-year/long range programs.
- Resolve funding and programming issues as they pertain to the execution of the current fiscal year budget.
- Assess problem areas within the resource advisor area of responsibility and recommends timely financial requirement changes in order to provide a quality product.
- Assistant focal point for the execution and implementation budgetary resource allocation policies and guidance.
- Identify and analyze financial problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate corrective recommendations.
- Helps with monitoring actual obligations/charges, analyzes financial requirements, and prepares fund utilization plans.
- Provides support for the organization to utilize data analytics and data tools to improve EW Assessment performance and administration.
- Evaluate all assigned duties for applicability and extension of 350th SWW operationalized data picture and integrate data metrics into daily decisions and battle rhythm.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Associate degree or accounting/finance program certification.
- 2 years Department of Defense financial, budgeting or resource advisor experience with financial systems such as DEAMS, CRIS, and/or ABIDES.
- Must be capable of obtaining and retaining a Secret security clearance.
- Knowledge of Air Force Financial Analysis and Accounting and Finance procedures.
- Knowledge of practical techniques of financial analysis.
- Ability to modify organization spending practices.
- Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze data to prepare budget estimates, develop alternatives, and to develop, apply, and adjust financial plans and policies to solve complex budget/funding problems.
- Ability to devise resource allocation options for complex and diverse organizations including the application of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
